Steve Witt

Worthington Steel Company

Steve Witt is corporate controller for Worthington Steel and has been a key member of multiple integration teams on a number of acquisitions, managing financial due diligence and purchase accounting. He was also the financial lead on the company’s first Transformation team and has served as part of the traveling team responsible for driving business improvements within the Steel business.

Prior to this position, Steve served as corporate controller for Worthington Industries. After joining Worthington Industries in 2003, Steve led the Accounting and Finance teams for Steel and Cylinders, Worthington Industries’ largest business segments.

Before joining Worthington Industries, Witt was controller at General Electric Superabrasives and spent eight years at KPMG.

Witt earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University. He is married and has three adult children.
