A customer dealing with supply chain issues was stuck with steel that wasn’t working.
During a mill supply shortage, one of our customers had to replace their usual steel with an alternate grade. (Spoiler alert: It didn’t work.) They had purchased hot-rolled HSLA on the spot market and supplied it to their customer. But the customer was having serious problems stamping parts with the alternate grade.
